OldSchool Hustle

Dwight Howard scored 22 points and grabbed 18 rebounds, passing Wilt Chamberlain as the youngest NBA player to reach the 5,000-board mark, and the Magic kept their grip on the No. 2 spot in the Eastern Conference by beating the Heat 101-95 on Monday night.
A real throwback player!

Yes he may be the biggest and strongest center in the league right now but that does not stop him from hustling! Rebounds and Blocks shots are mostly all hustle stats, and Dwight Howard has plenty of each!

Unlike the former Orlando Magic center fat boy Shaq, Dwight Howards keeps himself is muscled up and lean and is tenacious on defense.

These are the kinds of players that impress me, those that despite exceptional physical ability they still hustle. I love it, it takes no talent to hustle, anyone can do it, yet so many players in the NBA do not.

Quick stat...

There are currently 5 players in the NBA right
now averaging double digit rebounds.
Yes I said 5, out of the nearly 500 players.

Where is hustle?

Dwight Howard is just 24 years old and pretty much the most dominant center in the league and has shown no signs of slowing down.

More power to you young blood!! Even though Dwight Howard came in to the league straight from high school…today he is a honorary member of Classic University.
